Digital driver’s licences are set to become available in Victoria in 2024. With a trial of the new service to begin in a regional city from July.
The new technology will allow motorists to have a digital version of their driver licence on their phones. Either on the Service Victoria app or the soon-to-be-launched my VicRoads app.
The digital licences will be able to be updated immediately in line with any changes to the licence conditions or changes of address.
